Food For Thought

Here's a post that might actually be useful (I try, sometimes). The good people at wiseGeek have compiled pictures of different foods that each represent 200 calories.

Some foods have significantly more calories than others but what does the difference actually look like. Each of the photographs below represents 200 calories of the particular type of food; the images are sorted from low to high calorie density.


Very interesting and simple to grasp. You want to consume more grams per calorie. So for a snack you could munch on 1425 grams of celery, or 33 grams of nuts. Check it out.
