ABC to Cancel Holocaust Series with Gibson

The fallout after Mel Gibson's wild weekend continues today. Disney-owned ABC says it has cancelled the project it was developing with Mel Gibson's Icon Productions. The project was a mini-series about the Holocaust. No, this is not a joke. Mel Gibson really was working on a Holocaust mini-series for television but he just couldn't find his motivation.

"Given that it has been nearly two years and we have yet to see the first draft of a script, we have decided to no longer pursue this project with Icon" said ABC.

That, and ABC has just learned that Gibson doesn't like Jews.

Now Gibson can get back to the other mini-series he was working on: The Henry Ford Story.
